| i had to revive my neighboours baby! |

I have had the worst 2 days that you could ever imagine, firstly i split up with my fiance and the day after i had to revive a 5month old baby boy.
I heard screaming outside so i went out to see what was happening. Only to find my neighbour screaming "help help me my baby is dead" so i ran to her house to find my other neighbour giving mouth to mouth to her baby! so i immediatly went and helped her, put him into the recovery position, checked his plus and listened near his mouth to try and hear if he was breathing! at this point he was pale white, had blue lips and was breathing very shallow then he would stop for few seconds and then groan over and over and was lying there lifeless on the floor.. we had to keep doing this until the paramedics arrived.
About 5 minutes later one paramedic came in the ambulance car so we had to help him get the oxygen out, connect the tube and mask for him, the paramedic still couldnt revive him so he put him on a monitor to see his stats and his heartbeat was very faint, when 4 other paramedics arrived there was still no sign of him getting any better, they were going to put him on a stretcher to take him out but it got that bad that they just picked him up and ran to the ambulance! i was surprised about how calm i was until i stood back and watched the paramedics take over and i couldnt believe what i was seeing trying to hold my tears in. I think its amazing that when sumfin like that happens you just become another person, its different tho i guess if it isnt your own child!
My friend who's baby it was rang us to keep us informmed and she said that when they got to the hospital he had died and they resusitated him for 20 mins and he got his heartbeat back again and was kicking his legs but not making any noise! and then he went down hill again so they had to put him on a life support machine and that he keeps fitting! she rang me agin just before to tel me that the hospital said that they dont think he is going to make it and think that he might be severly handicapped!!! i guess that all i can think to myself is that we done what we could for him, if we wernt there he might not of made it! i feel so sorry for her because i know what it is like when u nearly lose your baby because i have been there before with my youngest... please say a prayer for him! he is a fighter! and they said its a miracle that he is still here!!!
